What exactly is Coaching? How do you define coaching?
Coaching is a professional partnership that supports the achievement of extraordinary results, based on goals you set. The process of coaching allows you to see results faster with the support you need to successfully produce the results you want. Coaching concentrates on understanding and accepting where you are now, and identifying and navigating the path to your desired future. The foundation of coaching is getting purposeful RESULTS.
Do I need a life coach? How do I know if I’ll benefit from life coaching?
I personally believe that as women we can accomplish great things with or without a coach. Although, if we choose to partner with a coach, we all can reach much greater heights, get there faster, and get valuable support and collaboration when we get stuck or encounter barriers along the journey. The best way to realize this is to try life coaching first hand.
How do I get started with coaching sessions?
E-mail me using the Contact Form and we can set up a complimentary coaching session to discuss your needs. Then we decide together what arrangement is best for you!
How often are coaching sessions? Are they by phone or in-person?
I coach my clients weekly, twice per month or monthly. For local San Diego residents coaching is done in-person. Phone coaching is provided as requested and for clients outside of the San Diego area.
What is your approach to coaching? What’s your “style of coaching”?
Many people would say that my style of coaching is straightforward, genuine, collaborative and confidence building! I believe the best way for us to be successful together is by helping you find your own solutions and I often do this by asking powerful questions that result in clarity that enables you to move forward. It is essential to gain clarity before launching into action to be sure that your efforts will achieve your intended results.
What days and times can I receive a coaching session?
Coaching sessions are arranged between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Thursday and between 9:00am and 12:00pm on Friday (PST). Evening sessions can also be arranged.
How much does coaching cost?
The cost of coaching varies depending on how often we meet and the particular coaching service or package. For specific fees, see Coaching Services.
How long will we work together?
Length of coaching arrangements depend on your goal and desired level of support and progress. The idea is to help you build new skills, momentum and confidence that position you for ongoing success beyond the time we will work together. Many of my clients like to meet 2 times per month for an initial 6 month period and maintain progress through monthly sessions for an additional 6-12 months. Alternatively, if you wish to aggressively make changes in your life we might begin with weekly coaching for 3 months and then meet 2 times per month for an additional 6-12 months to see your progress come to full completion of your goal or desired life change.

Throughout the six steps, I use a variety of tools and techniques to help my clients move forward to create the life they want. We can work on values clarification exercises, goal setting, powerful questioning, reflection, role playing, self-assessments and more. I tailor the combination of strategies for each individual client based on their needs and personality.
